Sunday Salon continues to be hosted by Matt Gonzalez, filling in for Larry Bensky, who will be returning in July. 
 
The first hour, we find out what happened this week on Capitol Hill with the John Conyers Impeachment hearings, and talk about what steps listeners can take to add momentum to the movement to impeach George W. Bush.

Second Hour

Our second hour will focus on ways here in the Bay Area that we can get off of fossil fuel, with Kumar from Yokayo Biofuel, and representatives from ethanol and other bio-mass fuel organizations(www.livejournal.com~whybiofuel). 

East Bay Post Carbon Solutions Group is also hosting a relevant event called Beyond Oil II.  It will be held June, 14th and starts at 7pm at 2901 Harrison @ 27th St in Oakland. For more information please call 510 496 6080.

Matt Gonzalez continues to fill in for Larry Bensky, who is recovering from surgery. 

In our first hour, we discuss how to "Fight with our Dollars," by making choices with how we spend on money on a day to day basis. Pratap Chattergee from CorpWatch joins Alisa Gravitz from Co-op America and Catherine Austin Fitts from Solari. Find out how to shop and how to bank in ways that do not support the destructive corporations that put the Bush administration in office and have led us into war.

First hour, Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey is with us live and discusses her historic amendment to bring the troops home from Iraq, and fills us in on the priorities of the Progressive Caucus in Congress. We'll open up phones so listeners can speak with her.
